Dedenne

I didn't quite have the right colors for this one, but he turned out okay.

Sew fingers to the magic circle end of the arm. Sew assembled arms to body just above the belly. Sew the other fingers to the magic circle end of the feet. Sew assembled feet to bottom of body.

Place pipe cleaners in tail as you go if you would like to bend the tail later, if not, stuff as you go. When you reach row 42, flatten.

Finish: With white felt, cut out two ovals for eyes. Out of black, felt cut out two smaller ovals for pupils.
With pink, cut out the mouth. See picture for shape. With white felt cut out a small tooth. Glue all pieces to face. With black yarn, embroider a small nose.

Sew petals around inside of flower at edge. When all petals are on, secure row 6 of flower bottom along the outside of petals.

Stuff with wire or pipe cleaners or just polyfil. Sew to bottom of flower.


Stamen: (make 4)
With yellow, 6 sc in magic circle (6)

Row 4-12: sc around (4) (add or subtract rows as necessary)

Using four pieces of wire or four pipe cleaners, place in center of flower. I took a piece of pipe cleaner, pulled it thru the center of the flower and then twisted the two ends together. When done slide each stamen over the wire or pipe cleaners and secure.




Leaves: (make 3)
