Sew one ridge to top of shell. Stuff as you go. Sew the other two ridges to the right and left pieces of shell. Stuff as you go. See picture.

Inside Leg: (make 4)
With red, ch 4
Row 1: sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next 2,ch1, turn  (3)
Row 2: sc across, ch1, turn (3)
Row 3: dec over next 2, sc next (2)

Sew inside leg to leg along flat side. Stuff legs and sew to shell.






Finish: Sew back of shell to body. Cut two eyes out of yellow felt in half circle shape. Cut two small ovals out of black felt for pupils. Cut two small circles out of white felt for highlights. Glue pieces to body. Hal of eye is hidden behind the shell. See picture. Sew front of shell to body. Sew along each of the seams of shell to give rounded effect.
