Smoochum

Smoochum has decided to be one of her favorite TV characters for Halloween. Along with Map and Backpack she is ready to have fun. Scroll down and take a look...............



Smoochum Pattern


Materials: medium pink (I used a medium pink, but it should be a bright pink, Dora's shirt is also a bright pink so I wanted to make them different), light pink, light yellow, medium yellow, aqua (blue-green) and white felt, crochet hook (F), polyfil, craft glue


Head:
With pink, 6 sc in magic circle (6)

Sew to top of hair. Largest tuffs are at the front. Sew hair to the head and arrange the bangs.

Sew to face. Using black yarn embroider mouth on lips.


Feet: (make 2)
With light yellow, 6 sc in magic circle (6)

Weave tail between loops and pull closed.

Flatten feet and sew on body.





Finish: Cut two circle out of white felt for eyes. Cut two smaller circles out of aqua (blue-green) felt and two smaller circles out of white felt for eye highlights. Glue pieces together and then glue to face.

Position hair on head and secure.


Finishing: Both Map and Packback have eyes, mouths and eyebrows. Use the black and white felt for the eyes. Embroider the mouths and eyebrows with black yarn. I used the marker to draw on the eyebrows for Map.
