Gengar

COMPLETED: 70 GOAL: 649

When I was looking for pictures of Gengar's back, I found quite a few versions that were different. Some had a few spikes, some had more, others looked more like spiky hair rather then individual spikes. I settled on using the spikes in a ridge pattern. My original body was too small to fit all the spikes, so I modified my pattern .The pictures are the original patten, so they won't show the correct number of spikes.

Each side ridge consists of 1 medium spike and 5 small spikes. Begin by sewing the medium spike behind and slightly to the outside of the head spike. Continue to sew remaining spikes down back towards tail.

Finish: Cut mouth out of white felt. Cut two eyes out of red felt. Cut two small ovals out of black felt for pupils and two smaller oval out of white felt for accents. Glue pieces to body. With black yarn embroider the lines across mouth to form teeth.
