Row 20: *sc next sc, decrease over next 2 sc* 3 times, sc next 2 sc (8)
Continue to stuff if needed to give it an egg shape.
FO leaving long tail. Weave tail thru loops of last row of sc and pull together to close.

Using the felt and black and red yarn create the faces. I found it easier to outline the eyes with the black yarn first to get their expressions right. And then I cut a piece of felt to embroider between the outlines with thread. Lastly, I added the mouths and cracks.

Just a thought: You may want to crochet the yolk first and then the egg. When you complete row 15 of the egg, sew the yolk to the inside of the egg using the inside loops. Then continue crocheting the remainder of the egg. I waited until I was finished with the egg before I sewed the yolk in. Was a bit more difficult. You may also want to stuff the egg and yolk a bit more to get the shape you want before finishing the sewing.
